Shack

The main operating positions features a Kenwood TS-430s Tranceiver,MC-85 Desk Mic, AT-250 Automatic Antenna Tuner, SP-430 External Speaker, PS-430 Power Supply and an older OS/2 based computer for logging.

Antennas

There are three wire antenna's at W2WT a ??? trapped sloper, a 40/15 meter dipole and a 270ft long wire.  The antennas are hung from the branches of various trees in the yard at about 30 feet high.

Test Bench

The W2WT test bench is set up with classic 1970's-80's HP test equipment including a 140T Spectrum Analyzer, a 8640B Signal Generator, a 3478A DVM and a 5328A Universal Counter.

Boat Anchor Collection

Boat anchor collecting, repair and restorations is of my main activities. I'm interested in vacuum tube radios of the 50's and 60's.  Particularly Drake, Heathkit, Hammarlund, Hallicrafters and National higher end models.  Currently operatating radios include a Hallicrafters SX-62A, a National NC-300 and a Drake R-4B.  In que for check out are a dozen or so radios including a Hammarlund HQ-180, National NC-183d, a Hallicrafters SX-101, a Hallicrafters HT-32, a Heathkit SB-220 and several other radios.
